To find and train the best talent, and to better serve and grow our northeastern customers, Lutron opened its second engineering office in Cambridge, MA in November 2012. As a growing company, Lutron is constantly seeking out world-class engineers to work on our latest innovations in lighting control, commercial and home automation products.
Our office is now located in the center of Boston, just north of Boston Common. We are within a short walk of numerous restaurants, multiple T subways lines and major landmarks like Faneuil Hall Marketplace and Boston Harbour. We have access to everything the city has to offer and it’s easy to catch a Commuter Rail at North Station or South Station and go out of the city.
Lutron opened its first engineering office in South Florida to be closer to major customers and join a growing engineering community. This office provides engineers with many unique experiences and roles as they work closely with the rest of the company, from product development to manufacturing and marketing.
Our office is in Palm Beach county, which is in proximity to Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach. For those that enjoy the outdoors, we are perfectly located within a short distance from numerous beaches and adventures in the open air such as fishing, boating, golfing or scuba diving. We also have access to travel and tourism via the nearby airports and cruise ports. Your family and friends will definitely want to visit you at this location!
Our third engineering office was opened in Philadelphia in October of 2016. This office is dedicated to software development and IoT applications. Software engineering is a crucial component of developing products that bring innovative lighting control and home automation to our customers.
Our Philadelphia office is in the FMC Tower at Cira Centre South in the University district which is across the Schuylkill River from Center City. We are at the center of everything the city has to offer.
When Lutron acquired Ketra lighting in 2018, it said “Howdy” to its first major office in the Lone Star State. Now the unified Lutron + Ketra team is working across two buildings: the BEAM and Ketra HQ.
The BEAM (Breakthrough Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing) is where Ketra’s groundbreaking tech is designed, assembled, and tested. A significant 2020 investment by Lutron introduced a state-of-the-art clean room and printed circuit board assembly equipment. Just down the road is Ketra’s newly finished HQ, featured in Interior Design magazine for its amenities, smart design, and local flair.
Both offices are located in the up-and-coming Riverside area, close to the bustle of downtown Austin and gorgeous nature trails like McKinney Falls State Park and Lady Bird Lake.
