Lutron Electronics Co., Inc has an immediate opening for a Specification Sales Leader in our Hong Kong Office. In this position, you would lead the specification sales team in Greater China and create coverage plan to develop specifier accounts, project opportunities, and generate sales for Lutron solutions in commercial and residential projects. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive the specification team to achieve and exceed annual individual and team sales target through Specification
  • Set strategic plan for the team and hold the team accountable for sales results
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing regional specifier accounts
  • Foster new specifier/influencer relationships to generate incremental sales
  • Identify opportunities, track projects in the pipeline, and communicate proactively with territory sales team to surround job and close orders
  • Develop technical expertise on Lutron lighting control solutions
  • Work with technical and quotations team to deliver complete spec submittals for specifiers
  • Deliver effective training and presentations to the specifier community
  • Participate in events, such as tradeshows and sponsor events, to expand brand awareness for Lutron
  • Proactively manage the opportunity and account information on Salesforce.com
  • Keep accurate expense records and submit/approve reports on time
  • Create a collaborative environment among the local and regional team for information exchange and team support

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Min of 5 years calling specifiers
  • Sales Leadership and management experience to build and develop a team
  • Understanding the construction industry
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to persuade and negotiate mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings
