Lutron Electronics Co., has an immediate opening for a Commercial Specification Sales. In this position, you will be driving Lutron's specification sales for Commercial market and sales efforts in Singapore and surrounding countries. You will work closely with architects, designers, engineers, and end users to ensure that Lutron is the lighting and shading system of choice. You will create sales and coverage plans to develop accounts, project opportunities, and generate sales for Lutron solutions (Lighting and shade controls) in commercial projects.   • Work with specifiers: architects; interior designers, consultant engineers, electrical engineers, lighting designers to specify Lutron products, to identify project needs, to layout systems and to close orders. More technical focus.
  • Establish strong relationships with these key players through regular visits
    Make sales calls to key players to demonstrate and inform them about product benefits
  • Coordinate with existing Lutron home automation dealers and Lutron commercial distributors to close the jobs. 
  • Identify project needs and provide specification assistance
  • Layout and quote systems jobs; driving for one-name specifications
  • Create new applications/solutions that integrate all our products.
  • Standardize the documentation we deliver to our engineers.
  • Provide clear market feedback to help direct future product development efforts.
  • Enlarge Lutron reputation and position ourselves as the Ultimate lighting control company.

  • Bachelor in Engineering
  • Min 5 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Technical background
  • English, Mandarin 
  • Travel required for ASEAN region countries
