Overall Job Purpose

Manage Lutron’s commercial quotations team to deliver an accurate, reliable, competitive and responsive design and quotations service to our customers and Sales teams.

Manage the team and distribute the workload to deliver the following:


  1. System design: gain a thorough understanding of the project’s requirements and design lighting control solutions which will comply with the specification (25%)
  2. Managing the delivery of Estimations from drawings and specification. (25%)
  3. Calculation of commissioning and liaison with Field Service group (10%)
  4. Work closely with the Service team in A3E (India) to deliver key quotation components.(10%)
  5. Work closely with the sales teams to ensure the quotes have a strong conversion rate. (10%)
  6. Line management, performance coaching, reviews and day-to-day management. (10%)
  7. Management reporting (10%)




Person Specification

(Personal attributes essential to performing role: e.g. skills, competencies, expertise, knowledge, experience.  Note: experience not to be time-bound)

  1. Minimum 2 years experience working as a Estimations Manager or Bid Manager
  2. Background in estimating
  3. Technical understanding (degree preferred).
  4. Fluency in English, additional languages beneficial
