Lutron Electronics Co., Inc has entry-level openings for our Inside Sales Customer Service Representative position based at the corporate office in Lehigh Valley, PA.  In this position, you will work closely with the inside sales, outside sales, fields service and integrated systems teams to gain industry knowledge while supporting our customers.  Start your career in an innovative, growing company by getting to know our customers, solving their problems, and understanding Lutron products.

A successful inside sales customer service representative will utilize their customer service skills and inherent drive to increase sales across the organization and provide world-class support to our customers.  In this role you will hone your existing talents and learn new skills.  This will help you advance your career by providing you with multiple development opportunities within our growing company.

Responsibilities:

·         Sales Support Research

o    Research Lutron databases, salesforce.com, and ServiceMax to develop reports that support sales campaigns and initiatives

o    Compile comprehensive lists by campaign type to distribute to commercial sales teams

·         National Accounts

·         Higher Education

·         Service Sales

·         RUS Sales

·         Sales Operations

o    Create and maintain end user accounts in E1

o    Enter orders and release gear or services against purchase orders and/or signed contracts

o    Close out contracts when customers cancel or fail to renew

·         Service Sales Estimating

o    Create budgetary quotes for legacy system upgrades (RUS)

o    Create service contract, SMA and software upgrade quotes for the service sales team

o    Manage the Warranty Sales and RUS inboxes

o    Coordinate with the RUS outside sales team to involve Rep agencies for Technology upgrades

·         Customer Relationship Management

o    Proactively reach out to service contract customers to schedule preventative maintenance visits

o    Coordinate with Field Service leadership to manage customer accounts

o    Reach out to customers regarding late payments or non-response from AP

·         Other duties as necessary

 

Requirements:

·         Bachelors Degree with a minimum GPA of 2.7

·         Minimum 0-2 years of work experience, preferred experience in a fast-paced service-related position

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Ability to work in a dynamic business environment

·         Experience working with a team to solve problems or achieve a goal

·         Strong organizational skills

·         Ability to use discretion and make decisions independently

·         Proficient with MS Office
