Job Description

Lutron Electronics Co., Inc has an immediate opening for an eCommerce Content Specialist.  In this position you will be a key part of the North America Retail Sales Team, managing and optimizing our product assortment and customer engagement activities on key eCommerce platforms, primarily focused on Amazon.com. We are looking for a motivated, proactive self-starter who has the skills and drive to help us grow and innovate in this fast-changing industry. This position works closely with marketing, sales, product management and the customer experience team and reports directly to our Amazon Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Pro-actively manage and optimize Amazon.com portfolios including new product set-up and audits, creation and execution of new digital content, maintaining customer catalog and pricing files, and leveraging techniques to increase market basket and cross-sell opportunities
  • Coordinate with partners’ internal Ecommerce teams
  • Build brand integrity through customer engagement and resolution 
    • Work with internal teams to facilitate responses to online reviews and questions
    • Work with internal teams to facilitate research and resolution of reported issues
  • Work closely with marketing, brand and communications teams to develop and modify standards and guidelines for content and ensure consistent brand deliveries across all channels and customers
  • Involvement in overall account customer service, order management and processing, ensuring timely fufillment and operational excellence
  • Participate in content strategies with marketing and ecommerce team for large .com projects and initiatives
  • Help facilitate the onboarding of new accounts by working closely with cross-functional teams such as IT, Operations and Logistics

  Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, or related field with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Ability and interest in learning about selling products within the eCommerce space, with the creativity to market them
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%, sometimes with little or no notice
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Self-motivator that takes initiative and has a strong work-ethic and follow through
  • Ability to multitask and troubleshoot issues quickly, solving problems with enthusiasm and creativity
  • Analytical mindset to take data and insights and translate into actionable project goals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work well with a team
  • Expert in Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel
  • Experience working with National Account e-retailers (especially Amazon) a plus
  • Experience writing copy for public-facing websites a plus
  • New college graduates with relevant internship or coursework will be considered
