Sales Leadership Development Program

Expanding the market and cultivating new customers is the basis for our Sales Leadership Development Program. As part of this program, you’ll have an opportunity to learn our business from the ground up while enjoying a great deal of autonomy and responsibility early in your career.

How the program works

You’ll participate in an intensive 7 month training program to quickly integrate you into our professional sales force. In this program you’ll:

  • Learn about our products, business, and skills needed to be a successful salesperson
  • Shadow existing Lutron salespeople in the field
  • Complete two field initiatives around the country

After successfully completing the program you’ll have an opportunity to move to an outside sales role (requiring relocation and territory-based travel about 50% of the time).

You’ll be responsible for growing Lutron sales in a particular region of the country. This will include engaging with:

  • Manufacturer’s reps
